Nice! Sound To Mountains BikeFest: "About The Ride: A 104 mile road ride begins @ 6:30am from Magnuson Park in Seattle, with up to 1,000 participants riding from Seattle to North Bend over the course of the day. The beautiful, occasionally hilly route takes riders North to Snohomish before winding through the Snoqualmie River Valley to end at the festival grounds at the base of Mt Si in North Bend, WA."

Thx, Andrew! Yes, the ride was all that was advertised (except the 1,000 riders part). It was amazingly well-organized for a first year effort, the route was great, and the modest number of riders (~ 300?) meant that I could ride with people when I wanted to, ride alone when I wanted to, and generally relax. And of course, at the end, we got to relax, listen to music, and talk to frame artisans. Even the weather, which started out sprinkly, turned out not to be a problem.

Will definitely do this next year!
